State of the World's Children 2023: Statistical Tables

2023

These 2023 statistical tables published by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) accompany that year’s State of the World’s Children report and provide UNICEF data on child well-being. Users can download the data in spreadsheet format (Excel). Country-level data are available for a variety of key indicators at the country level, including general demographics, early childhood development, education, nutrition, migration, social protection, and water and sanitary hygiene.

Each year, UNICEF’s flagship State of the World’s Children report examines a key issue affecting children across the globe and provides up-to-date and accessibly presented economic and social statistics on the countries and territories of the world. For the first time, this year’s report focuses on child and adolescent mental health, and the risk and protective factors that shape mental health outcomes for youth worldwide.
