Gavi: The Vaccine Alliance

2024

Gavi: The Vaccine Alliance is a global health partnership focused on vaccinating the world’s children against infectious diseases. Gavi is a partnership across the private and public sectors, including with the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children’s Fund, that provides immunizations to children in the poorest countries, gives strategic direction, informs policy-making, and helps to boost economies of low-income countries for sustainable health outcomes for children. Gavi’s five-year strategy, Gavi 5.0 from 2021-2025 aims to increase efficacy and efficiency of immunization delivery, improve sustainability of immunization programs, and ensure that no children are left behind.

Gavi provides a portal detailing the countries it supports as well as information about its programming and impact. It publishes annual progress reports of the overview of Gavi’s work and performance, other publications including progress reports, technical updates, and fact sheets, and has an extensive multi-media library that includes a media room with the latest press releases and news headlines.
