This report from the Petrie-Flom Center at Harvard Law School provides a comprehensive overview and analysis of the health practices and policies of several professional sports leagues in North America. Using the National Football League as a baseline, the report compares its policies concerning medical personnel, conflicts of interest, drugs and performance-enhancing substances, and more with those of Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, and the Canadian Football League. The report outlines key differences between each league and highlights the successes and shortcomings between them. The report is accompanied by an executive summary and a comparative infographic.
