2017

This report from the World Health Organization (WHO), written by Dr. Margaret Chan at the conclusion of her tenure as the organization’s Director General, explores the past decade of progress in the field of public health. Each of the report’s chapters, which are available separately and in a web format, examines successes, setbacks, and enduring challenges for a myriad of important public health topics, particularly in light of emerging threats and changing circumstances. The importance of country leadership and community engagement is an underlying theme throughout the report.
