Khan Academy

Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Subject matter ranges from math, science and computer programming to history, art history, and economics. Khan Academy provides valuable resources for K-12 teachers looking to integrate Khan Academy modules into the classroom, as well as free tools for learners and parents. Specialized content is developed through partnerships with NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT. Of particular interest to public health educators are course modules on basic anatomy and physiology, current events like the Ebola outbreak and antibiotic resistance, and an introduction to the U.S. health care system.
