Global Observatory for eHealth

2024

This web portal from the World Health Organization (WHO) is an initiative focused on the study of the evolution of eHealth and its impact on health in countries around the world. eHealth is defined by WHO as “the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) for health,” and is considered one of the most quickly growing fields in health with the potential to dramatically change the way health services and systems are offered around the world. The Global Observatory for eHealth (GOe) is designed to improve health by equipping national governments and international bodies with information and guidance on effective eHealth practices and standards.
