The Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change: From 25 Years of Inaction to a Global Transformation for Public Health

This report from The Lancet offers a comprehensive review of the Lancet Countdown research collaboration, which tracks progress on health and climate change. The report provides an assessment of the health effects of climate change, the implementation of the Paris Agreement, and consequential health implications. It evaluates the health impact of climate change and climate change policy using a number of indicators that span population health, the labor market and economy, food security, access to clean energy sources, and recommends urgent and immediate global action. Interactive infographics, multimedia content, and a supplementary appendix are also available.
