The Report of the 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey

This annual report by the National Center for Transgender Equality details experiences of mistreatment, discrimination, and disparity against transgender people across areas that include education, work, family, health, housing, and the criminal justice system. The results, based on survey data of 27,715 transgender persons in the United States, are available as a full report, executive summary, and as breakout reports on the experiences of Black, Latino/a, American Indians and Alaska Natives, and Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander respondents, as well as smaller reports on experiences of military service by transgender people, bisexual transgender people, and individual state reports. The National Center for Transgender Equality is a social justice policy advocacy organization dedicated to ending discrimination and violence against transgender people.
