This data portal offered by the United Nations Inter-agency Group for Child Mortality Estimation (UN IGME) contains all available data and the latest child mortality estimates for 196 countries. Users can explore global trends through an interactive map or click into individual country pages to see national data on neonatal, infant, and child mortality over time. The site’s Compare tool allows comparisons between user-selected countries on key metrics of child survival; data can be viewed or exported for further analysis. The UN IGME is led by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO), and also includes the World Bank Group and the United Nations Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs as full members.
