These country profiles from Climate Action Tracker describe progress towards globally agreed aims of holding global warming below 2◦C while pursuing efforts to limit warming to 1.5◦. Profiles feature the country’s rating on climate action—from “critically insufficient” to “1.5◦C Paris Agreement Compatible”—and provide a rationale for the rating. Users can explore a country’s current pledges and targets, policies and actions, net-zero targets, and underlying assumptions. Data from country profiles are available for download. Climate Action Tracker, an independent scientific analysis from three research organizations studying climate action, tracks 41 countries covering around 85 percent of global emissions and provides an international aviation and shipping assessment.
