Resource Pack: Core Global Health Reports

This resource pack includes a collection of contemporary global health reports, accompanied by an annotated bibliography, to help educators find up to date information on a variety of important population health topics. Reports were selected that are peer-reviewed, target a general audience, provide a world perspective, and contextualize health challenges in different regions and countries. Most reports have useful companion resources that can be used for teaching, such as data interactives, country profiles, regional briefs, and summaries.
Reports include overarching annual updates on world health, such as the World Health Statistics Report 2022, and on global topics that include a major emphasis on health, such as the Human Development Report and the Sustainable Development Goals Report 2022. Also included are reports on selected priority health conditions such as child, maternal and reproductive health, infectious diseases (e.g., HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB and COVID), non-communicable diseases, mental health, violence and injuries. Finally, there are selected key reports on major global challenges such as forced displacement, nutrition and food security, and climate change.
