This Lancet series explores commercial determinants of health, analyzing how commercial actors contribute to human and planetary health. The Series aims to define commercial determinants of health, discuss the health harms and benefits of the commercial world, and provide solutions for the future. The papers provide frameworks to help define the commercial sector and its negative impacts on health and call for regulation and investment in businesses that prioritize health, equity, and well-being.
