2017

Built around a case study about the fatal stampede in Allahabad, India, during the 2013 Kumbh Mela pilgrimage festival, the pack includes an instructor’s guide, discussion guide, and role-play exercise. Two additional companion resources, an annotated bibliography and a glossary of terms, include resources and terms specific to disaster management, health concerns about water and sanitation, and the history of the Kumbh Mela, and may also be used as accompanying materials for the case, Toilets and Sanitation at the Kumbh Mela
