Understanding and Tackling the Gendered Drivers of Poor Adolescent Mental Health

This report by the International Center for Research on Women describes gender-related factors contributing to poor adolescent mental health globally, including pubertal processes, gender norms, and gender-specific risk factors. In particular, the authors focus on gender-based discrimination, violence, and child marriage as important drivers of poor mental health, and discuss mental health interventions designed to address these issues.
