Climate Interactive

2024

Climate Interactive, inspired by the long tradition of systems dynamics modeling at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, crafts interactive experiences for people to develop deeper understanding of the world around them. Designed for high school, college, and graduate students in mind, the diverse tools bring to life climate research through dynamic simulations and roleplays. Through hands-on learning, particiants can see connections, work through scenarios, and apply ideas to address some of the world's most pressing climate and environmental risks.

Workshops and games include:

The simulations and roleplays are scaled to run on personal computers, making them an invaluable learning tool for virtual and hybrid learning environments. The data, assumptions, and parameters underlying the tools are accessible and shared. Climate Interactive offers both synchronous and asynchronous opportunities to learn how to run their simulations successfully.
