This report from the Minority Rights Group International explores the impact of land dispossession, forced assimilation, and other forms of discrimination on the most fundamental aspects of identity for minority and indigenous peoples world-wide, including language, art, traditional knowledge, and spirituality. It also describes the positive impact that minority and indigenous cultures can have to strengthen communities.
