World Development Indicators 2017

2017

The World Development Indicators (WDI) report, published annually by the World Bank, compiles the most current and accurate global development data available, and includes national, regional, and global estimates. The 2017 report includes more indicates that cover the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and more data disaggregated by sex, age, wealth quintile, and urban/rural location. The report is divided into seven sections: World View, Poverty and Shared Prosperity, People, Environment, Economy, States and Markets, and Global Links. Companion resources released along with the annual report include country and indicator pages, and online data tables; a new interactive data dashboard and an Atlas report illustrate and visualize global and regional trends related to the SDGs.
