The State of the World's Children 2012: Children in an Urban World
2012
The 2012 State of the World’s Children report focuses on the increasingly urban experience of childhood around the world today. It highlights challenges such as poverty and exclusion that face children living in the city, outlines key issues related to children’s rights in an urban setting, and offers suggestions and examples toward making cities fit for children and uniting for children in an urban world.
The report, which is published annually by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on different topics related to child wellbeing, is accompanied by an executive summary.
