Resource Pack: Climate and Health: Scientific Portals

2024

This digital collection includes portals that provide scientific articles and evidence-based resources about climate and health, with a majority of the resources freely available to anyone, without a subscription. Portals are hosted by major health organizations, such as the National Institutes of Environmental Sciences and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as leading public health and clinical medicine journals such as The Lancet, JAMA, Nature, and The New England Journal of Medicine.

Explore the different portals to identify the format that is most useful to your needs. In addition to publication date, many organize resources by subtopic. Others include companion materials such as reports, data portals, data visualizations, multimedia, opinion pieces, and news. Educators may find these portals useful to identify specific scientific resources for syllabi, new course material, and student assignments.

This collection of scientific portals is part of a Climate and Health Resources for Educators Toolkit under development by the Global Health Education and Learning Incubator at Harvard University. New portals will be added as they become available.
