Countdown to 2030: Countdown Country and Regional Profiles

This data portal, provided by Countdown to 2030, offers country profiles and dashboards with the latest data on progress in women’s, children’s, and adolescents’ health for 145 countries worldwide. The portal includes updated country and regional profiles on reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH). The RMNCAH profiles present country-level data for several indicators, including demographics, healthcare coverage, equity, health policies and financing, and service delivery. Users can also explore nutrition data, maternal and child health interventions, maternal mortality and neonatal rates, and causes of death in each country.

The 2022 update includes the first set of regional profiles, which provide a regional lens on maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent care. Users can explore progress and data across countries within a single region. The country and regional profiles can be accessed in a digital, interactive format and are downloadable as a PDF file.

Countdown also produces two additional sets of profiles; the country equity profiles and early childhood development (ECD) country profiles. The country equity profiles provide the latest evidence on health disparities in countries to assess women's, children's, and adolescents' health. The ECD profiles present country progress on child health and development worldwide. Both sets of profiles are available for download and have been updated to include the latest available data.

Countdown to 2030 is a multi-institutional network with representatives from academia, United Nations agencies, the World Bank, and civil society that track progress toward the 2030 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH+N).
