IPUMS Global Health

This data portal, IPUMS Global Health, provides integrated international health survey data for research and education. The portal includes data from African and South Asian Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS), fertility, contraception, hygiene, and health data from Performance, Monitoring, and Accountability 2020 (PMA2020).
IPUMS, part of the Minnesota Population Center at the University of Minnesota, provides harmonized census and survey data from around the world in a way that facilitates easy data comparison, manipulation, and analysis across disparate data sets. Over the past 25 years, IPUMS has curated, integrated, and disseminated data from U.S. and international censuses, as well as a variety of labor force, health, and education surveys. In addition to census and survey microdata, the IPUMS data portals include comprehensive mapping data on census geography, climate models, and raster data from satellite imagery. The IPUMS data and services are available free of charge.
