These country profiles developed by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) are part of a web portal that provides data for each country’s or territory’s need for UNFPA support based on a collection of six indicators: population, maternal and newborn health, sexual and reproductive health, education, fertility, and harmful practices. Users can also explore statistical dashboards by country for topics including adolescent and youth outcomes, female genital mutilation, midwifery, world population data and trends, and intimate partner violence. The dashboards provide overall information about the global impact of UNFPA’s support in each region, country, and territory.
The United Nations Population Fund is the United Nations organization focused primarily on sexual and reproductive health.
