Resource Pack: Climate and Health Data Visualizations

2024

This digital collection includes data visualizations about climate and health, with all of the resources freely available to anyone, without a subscription. The data visualizations are hosted by leading climate, health, news, and data organizations, such as the United Nations Environmental Programme, The Lancet, The New York Times, and Our World in Data. Many of the visualizations pull figures directly from major reports, including the Global Burden of Disease Studies and The Lancet Countdown: Tracking Progress on Health and Climate Change, or are present in interactive reports themselves.

Explore the different visualizations and portals to identify the format that is most useful to your needs. Educators may find these resources useful to visually demonstrate the impact of climate change on health and to include in syllabi, new course material, and student assignments.

This collection of scientific portals is part of a Climate and Health Resources for Educators Toolkit under development by the Global Health Education and Learning Incubator at Harvard University.
