The State of Health in the EU’s Country Health Profiles provide a concise overview of health and health systems in the EU/European Economic area. Published every 2 years, each profile provides a short overview of the country’s health status, risk factors, health system and health spending, and the effectiveness, accessibility, and resilience of the health system, and the state of mental health and related services within the country.

Country profiles are available for: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

These country profiles are produced by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, in cooperation with the European Commission. They are released once every two years, alternating with the release of Health at a Glance: Europe.
