This data portal from Our World in Data focuses on air pollution, one of the leading risk factors for death and disease burden globally. According to the portal, air pollution is attributed to nearly 10 percent of global deaths, more than five million per year. The portal includes the following interactives: number of deaths by risk factor; share of deaths from air pollution; disease burden by risk factor; and deaths rates from air pollution, 1990 to 2019. Our World in Data further stratified air pollution, creating in-depth statistics for both outdoor and indoor air pollution.
