Training Manual: Health in All Policies

This training guide, published by the World Health Organization, provides the framework for 2- or 3-day training workshops on building capacity to promote, implement, and evaluate a “health in all policies” approach. The trainings, typically offered regionally and in-country by universities, public health institutes, NGOs, or governmental agencies, target mid- to senior-level professionals in policy-making and government from all sectors influencing health. These include health, but also employment, housing, economic development, finance, trade, environment, social security, education, agriculture, and urban planning. The training includes 12 modules consisting of interactive lectures and group activities; also included are schedules, learning objectives and key messages, readings for participants, supporting material for instructors, handouts, and discussion prompts.
