HungerMap

2023

This data interactive from the World Food Programme (WFP) presents near real-time data about the magnitude and severity of hunger worldwide. Providing data on 94 countries, the interactive brings together information about key metrics—such as food security information, weather, population size, conflict, hazards, nutrition information, and macro-economic data—into one place for decision-makers and the broader humanitarian community. Users can explore data by country or by risk factor, layering several of these metrics on the map to develop a holistic picture of hunger in a specific region. The interactive includes a glossary of key terms and a description of the underlying methodology.
