The State of the World's Children 2010: Child Rights

2010

The 2010 State of the World’s Children Special Edition report focuses on child rights, in celebration of 20 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), the most widely endorsed human rights treaty in history. The report includes an overview of human rights issues that remain relevant for children, expert perspective essays on the CRC, challenges for the 21st century, and the full text of the CRC and its optional protocols.

The report, which is published annually by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on different topics related to child wellbeing, is accompanied by an executive summary.
