Countdown to 2030: Country Equity Profiles
2023
These country profiles published by Countdown to 2030 present data on health disparities in low-and-middle-income countries (LMICs) to assess progress in women’s, children's, and adolescent health. The equity profiles provide data on trends and intervention coverage across reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health for 188 countries worldwide to explore inequalities within country subgroups. The profiles explore health intervention coverage across 15 indicators, including antenatal care, immunization rates, breastfeeding, and family planning, and present country data by region, wealth quintiles, place of residence (rural or urban), and women’s education level.
The country equity profiles can be downloaded as a PDF file, and 18 profiles include newly updated data for 2022.
Countdown to 2030 is a multi-institutional network with representatives from academia, United Nations agencies, the World Bank, and civil society that track progress toward the 2030 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH+N)
